Agent Inbox's MVP was live in 60 days, and OrchestrateCS went from an idea to a live MVP in under 60 days. Those were longer builds. A Sprint is the smallest piece of that work: one feature, two weeks, a fixed price, with the scope agreed in writing before we start. Our engineers average 8+ years of experience, ~95% of our clients stay, and we're rated 4.8/5 on Clutch. Building software since 2008.
A written scope
A feature that isn't written down grows while it's being built, and so does the bill.
- One page, one price. The engineer who scopes it builds it, and the price is fixed in writing on a one-page scope before work starts.
- Free to scope. Scoping is free: one 30-minute call and a read-only look at your repo, with a written scope within 2 working days.
- A short look first. Read-only: the parts of the code the feature touches, the tests and the deploy path. Half a day at most.
- Two fixed weeks. The scope is agreed in writing before we start. Anything new becomes a second Sprint at the same $9,800.
- Not for. App-store releases, third-party approvals, migrations with no rollback, and stacks we haven't shipped to production.
Live on production
A feature that works on a laptop and stalls before release isn't done.
- Done means production. Done means the acceptance criterion passes on production, behind a flag you can turn on if you prefer.
- Mid-sprint. A staging link and a mid-sprint call.
- If it slips. Half is paid at signing, half when it passes on production. If the agreed scope is not live in ten working days, we work up to 5 more days at no charge.
- A dated start. Work starts on a dated Monday, usually within two weeks of signing.
A note every Friday
You shouldn't have to read code to know where the work stands.
- Each week. A staging link in week one, a plain-English note every Friday and one mid-sprint call.
- Who does it. Paul Keen, our founder, takes the first call; the engineer who scopes your feature builds it.
- Experience. Our engineers average 8+ years of experience.
- Confidentiality. Mutual NDA on request, signed before we read your code.
Your code, either way
If the Sprint goes well you'll want the same people next. If it doesn't, you should leave with the work.
- In your repository. Yours from the first commit, IP included.
- If it went well. If you continue, we tell you at sign-off who stays on.
- If it didn't. You can stop on any day and pay $980 for each day worked; the rest of the first half is refunded. The code stays in your repo.
